Dedication

 

The Association is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) that derives its mandates from the instinct of voluntary and charitable expression of good will, fellowship and social responsibility.

The Association thrives on equality among gender, race, age and religion.

 

Funding

 The Association operates purely as a charitable, voluntary and non profit organization. Its initial funding is expected from donors and benefactors while future funds shall be generated from fund-raising programmes and other minor services at minimal charges.

Membership

 

 
  Objective  

 

In pursuance to our mandate, obligation, roles, vision and mission, the major objectives of AVSA are:

1. To promote and provide safety information and services.

2. To attend with dispatch to all known accident victims with a view of saving their lives.

3. Engage in sourcing for funds to support its mission.

4. Promote the principles of saving lives and have accident insurance policy.

5. To provide adequate information, education and communication services against the neglect of the maimed accident victims.

6. To encourage mass employment of disabled persons in the society.

7. To co-operate and collaborate to the extent possible with governments, other non-governmental
organizations and International organizations in pursuance of its mandate and mission.

8. To under take other appropriate actions necessary for the achievement of the mission of the association.

 

 

 

  Mission  

 The organization shall always be committed to providing charitable service through information, education and communication. The association shall keep records of accident victims with a view to monitoring their treatment and rehabilitation in all parts of the country.

The association will equally play active role in helping victims pursue normal life after discharge from hospitals in furtherance to attaining their goals in life. The mission is to make victims have good health, gainful employment achieve physical, mental and socio-economic and informed choice of treatment at affordable price and safe counseling about the new status and values in the society.

 

Vision

The Association has a vision of leadership of being the conscience of enhancing the rights of victims. At a special organization, the Association shall endeavour to play leadership role in the private sector by pursuing with vigor victims rehabilitation and development programmes, social welfare, health, family protection, education and economic support
